With so many smartwatches in the market today, the Apple Watch is actually one of the more pricier offerings at the moment. However for those who have bought into the Apple ecosystem, it is pretty much the obvious choice, but the good news is that if you don’t mind refurbished products, you can save yourself some money.

According to reports, it seems that the refurbished section on Apple’s website is now listing the Apple Watch Series 3. Given that the device is relatively new, it is surprising to see refurbished models available so early, but we guess someone’s loss is someone else’s gain. The refurbished model is priced at $309, which according to Apple will see users save $50 compared to buying a brand new model.

Note that the version being sold is the non-LTE version, so if you wanted a refurbished model that came with cellular connectivity, we suppose you’ll have to try your luck elsewhere. It will also be the 42mm model (versus 38mm) and will sport an aluminum case with a black sports band.

Given that Apple doesn’t actually control the supply of refurbished devices, like we said, it boils down to your luck, so perhaps keeping an eye out in the refurbished section could eventually see the model you want available.
