If DC and Warner Bros. weren’t already feeling the pressure to come up with more hit movies based on the DC universe, they’re probably going to start feeling it even more because it seems that Marvel’s Black Panther is the highest-rated live-action superhero movie ever. This is based on its ratings on Rotten Tomatoes where it is currently sitting at 98%.

However it should be noted that before this, the movie had a rating of 100%, but we guess over time and with more reviews being added to the mix, it is understandable that the scores will fluctuate, but with a dip of 2% we reckon that’s still a good enough figure. This is also despite earlier reports that a group had planned to try and review bomb the movie, in which Facebook managed to shut the group down, and with Rotten Tomatoes’ system keeping an eye out for suspicious activity.

We’re not sure if the group actually went through with their plans, but if they did it looks like it might not have worked. Other highly-rated superhero live-action movies include Spider-Man: Homecoming which scored 88%, Wonder Woman which was also at 88%, and Logan which managed to nab 90%.

It also appears that Black Panther managed to score even higher than all of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. That being said, this means that other Marvel movies planned for 2018 have some pretty big shoes to fill, such as Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp, both of which are scheduled for release later this year.
