Huawei is due to launch its new flagship smartphones next month and a report claims that one of the upcoming models – the Huawei P20 Plus – is going to feature a 4,000mAh battery. The handset is also said to feature an Always On Display. Huawei’s upcoming handsets include the P20, P20 Plus, and the P20 Lite that it’s set to unveil at a press conference in Paris next month.

It was initially believed that Huawei would launch these handsets at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona this month but the company has scheduled a press event in Paris for March 27th. It presumably did that to avoid being overshadowed by the Galaxy S9 which will be unveiled the day before MWC 2018 kicks off.

A report based on recently obtained firmware files suggests that the P20 Plus is going to come with an Always On Display, if that’s true, it would be the second device after the Mate 10 Pro to have this feature.

The report also reveals that the P20 Plus is going to have a 4,000mAh battery as opposed to the 3,320mAh battery of the P20. It’s unclear if there will be any RAM and storage difference between the two models as well.

This information has not been officially confirmed by Samsung as yet so take it with a grain of salt.
