The Xbox One X is the most powerful console that Microsoft has ever made. It’s actually the most powerful console available on the market today. Many developers are leveraging the immense power of this console to create true 4K games but Microsoft also surprised fans by revealing that certain Xbox 360 titles will also be upgraded for the Xbox One X. Albert Penello, the marketing boss for Xbox consoles, reveals that more Xbox 360 titles will get upgraded for Xbox One X down the road.

Some titles like Fallout 3 and Halo 3 showed just how good they could be on a 4K display when optimized for the company’s most powerful console. While many would have thought that Microsoft may not upgrade other Xbox 360 titles other than the ones used for marketing purposes at launch, it turns out that there’s hope yet.

Penello was asked on Twitter if the company has any plans of upgrading more Xbox 360 games for the Xbox One X. He replied in the affirmative, adding that more titles compatible with the Xbox One X are coming soon.

He didn’t reveal any further details so it’s unclear which titles will be receiving upgrades for the Xbox One X and precisely when we can expect them to arrive. However, at least fans can now rest assured that there will be more Xbox 360 titles playable at 4K on the Xbox One X.
