Deadpool fans will be pretty excited to find out that a new Deadpool 2 trailer has been released today. The new trailer introduces the upcoming movie’s villain Cable played by Josh Brolin. As you can probably imagine, the trailer for this anti-superhero movie is packed with action and happens to be hilarious at the same time.

The trailer has been shot in true meta-Deadpool fashion so it pauses a minute or so in so that Cable’s arm gets properly CGI’d into the shot and for a Toy Story spoof.

There’s plenty of action in there too as Cable growls “People think they understand pain, but they have no concept of it” before all hell breaks loose and the bullets start flying. Some familiar faces from the first Deadpool movie can be spotted in the trailer as well.

Ryan Reynolds returns as Deadpool but this is Brolin’s first outing as Cable and according to reports, he has signed a deal to play this character in at least three more films, one of which is going to be an X-Force film.

Deadpool 2 is going to hit the big screen later this year on May 18th. Given the success of the first movie in this series, it goes without saying that a lot of people will be heading to the theaters to check it out.
