OnePlus is due to launch a new flagship smartphone later this year and we have already heard many rumors about the device. There’s a leaked photo circulating online today which suggests that the OnePlus 6 display might have a notch similar to the iPhone X. Whether or not this is what the company settles on for the final design remains to be see because it’s still early to be sure about the OnePlus 6’s design.

This leaked image is said to be of a prototype of the OnePlus 6 which means that this design may or may not be finalized by the company for its next flagship smartphone.

However, a notch on the OnePlus 6 display remains a strong possibility, given that OnePlus handsets’ tend to be loosely based off of Oppo, which is another phone brand owned by its parent company. Oppo is expected to release the R13 soon and it’s also said to feature a notch on the display

This leaked OnePlus 6 image also suggests that the handset may have a glass back which could help with wireless charging. We can see a dual camera system at the back with a fingerprint sensor placed underneath it.

OnePlus hasn’t dropped any hints about its next flagship smartphone so it’s difficult to completely rely on this leak even though what is suggests doesn’t seem too preposterous in the grand scheme of things.
