If you love collecting Overwatch skins and participating in limited time events, you might have heard that Blizzard has a Lunar New Year 2018 event called “Year of the Dog”. The good news is that it looks like the event is now live, and it also looks like Blizzard has released a new promotional trailer to show off the content that gamers can expect from the game.

Just like last year’s “Year of the Rooster” event, this year’s event will bring back Capture The Flag mode. However unlike last year, Blizzard announced that they will be releasing a map (based in Thailand) that has been created specifically for capture the flag. The developer has also announced that they have introduced some changes to the game’s mode where games will no longer end in a tie, and that games that do end in a tie at the end of the timer will enter into a sudden-death mode.

The event will also introduce a bunch of new skins for characters, including six new legendary skins, some of which you can check out in the video above. According to Blizzard’s description in the Overwatch video, this includes Red Phoenix (Zhu Que) Mercy, Black Tortoise (Xuan Wu) Zarya, White Tiger (Bai Hu) Genji, Black Lily Widowmaker, and more.

Overwatch’s “Year of the Dog” event will run from the 8th of February (today) until the 5th of March, so gamers have a little under a month to take part in the event and try to collect as many of the skins as possible.
