Samsung is going to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, a few days from now and as the company’s fans are focused on the upcoming launch, the company wants to move more units of its existing flagship models to keep up their sales momentum. Perhaps that’s why Samsung is now offering a pair of free Gear IconX earphones with every new purchase of a Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8.

This deal is being offered by Samsung so customers have to purchase the device from the Shop Samsung App or the company’s official online store for the United States. The handset they purchase can be unlocked or on a carrier.

The $199.99 Gear IconX wireless earphones work as standalone media players so users can leave their phone behind and enjoy plenty of their favorite music at the gym thanks to its 4GB onboard storage. It’s controlled using taps and swipes to manage playlists, navigate tracks, and adjust the volume.

It even has fitness-tracking capabilities so the Gear IconX can automatically detect when the user is walking or jogging to log session data such as time, distance, and calories burned.

Interested customers can head over to Samsung’s online store or use its app to place an order for the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ or Galaxy Note 8 if they want to take advantage of this offer that’s valid until March 1st.
