Sony has confirmed that they will be a MWC 2018 and in a recent tweet by the company, they have posted out a short teaser video leading up to their MWC 2018 conference which will be on the 26th of February, 2018. The teaser is a bit vague but presumably it will have something to do with the company’s upcoming phone(s).

We have heard rumors that Sony could announce the Sony Xperia XZ2 at the event. It will be Sony’s flagship smartphone and is expected to pack all the bells and whistles, including the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, an 18:9 display, and some rumors are even claiming that it could also come with a 4K display (although recent benchmarks have shown it to be QHD).

There have been some alleged leaks with regards to the design of the phone, but there is a chance that all those leaks could be worthless, according to a recent report which suggests that Sony could be making some last minute design changes and have requested that the FCC dismiss the grants that they were given to the previous design.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but MWC is about a week away so it won’t be too long until we have all the official details.
