Twitch gives subscribers with a Prime membership free games, it has been doing that for quite some time now, but it always decides what those games are going to be. It’s switching things up a bit with Twitch Prime Indie Amplifier to shine a spotlight on some great games from eight independent developers. The community can now vote to decide which game will be given out for free to Prime subscribers on March 15th.

That’s not all, the winning developers will also get a chance to get their share from a prize pool worth $175,000. There are a total of eight games that have been shortlisted for Twitch Prime Indie Amplifier. Once the voting closes on March 11th, the winning game will be given away to Twitch Prime members for free on March 15th.

The games include Quantum Astrophysicists Guild’s Tumblestone, Devolver Digital’s High Hell, Bkom Studios’ Tome of Annihilation, Topstitch Games’ Treadnauts, Image & Form’s Steamworld Dig 2, Daedalic Games’ Shadow Tactics, and Cartoon Interactive’s Kingsway.

Voting is open starting today and will run through Sunday, March 11th. Those who want to get a sense of how good or bad these games are can watch Twitch streamers Bacon Donut and Giantwaffle play the games for the next two weeks.
