Deadpool 2 is expected to be released in a couple of months, but it seems that there will be some last minute reshoots. According to a report from Collider, it appears that the movie will be getting some reshoots, but the report also refutes some of the rumors swirling about that the movie is getting reshot due to poor testing.

For those hearing about this for the first time, the rumors are claiming that testing for Deadpool 2 went poorly, which is why the studio has decided to order reshoots in hopes that it will screen better upon its release. However Collider claims that isn’t the case, and that apparently the movie tested around 90-91 out of a possible score of a 100.

Instead it seems that some of the comments made during the screening was that there wasn’t enough of Cable or Domino in the movie, who for those unfamiliar are new additions to the Deadpool movie and are played by Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz respectively. It seems that audiences wanted to see more of those characters, and so the reshoots are to accommodate for that.

Of course we will never know how different the original movie is compared to the version that will be released, but we suppose it’s not necessarily a bad thing to see more different types of characters in the movie. Deadpool 2 is currently set for a release on the 18th of May, right between Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
