Just last month the latest trailer for Square Enix’s upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 was launched where it showed that characters from the Monsters Inc. franchise would be incorporated into the game. However it seems that Monsters Inc. won’t be the latest Disney franchise to be included, and now there are reports suggesting that the Jungle Book could be included as well.

This is according to a recent post on 4Chan (via Game Rant) where it was suggested that a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be revealed in April, and that the trailer will also reveal the addition of the Jungle Book world to the game. Mowgli is also rumored to be a playable character alongside Baloo, and will also feature other characters like Bagheera and Shere Khan and also a potential boss battle with Kaa the snake.

The report also adds that Kingdom Hearts 3 will come with a new “summon” feature that lets players summon other characters, like The Lion King’s Simba. That being said, this is just a rumor for now and should probably be best taken with a grain of salt, but if they are true then Kingdom Hearts 3 could be shaping up to be an even more epic game that previously thought.

At the moment there is no set date on a release for Kingdom Hearts 3, but it is expected to be released some time later this year. Hopefully more details will be made available at E3, so check back with us then for more updates.
