Microsoft is pulling out all the stops for the upcoming Sea of Thieves title. The company has already announced the Sea of Thieves Xbox One S bundle and it’s now bringing back a promotion that it previously offered for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The company has confirmed that for a limited time it’s going to give away free Sea of Thieves copies to customers who purchase the Xbox One X.

To celebrate the March 20th release of the upcoming title, Microsoft has announced that it’s going to offer a free copy of this Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive for a limited time to those who purchase a new Xbox One X from participating retailers.

The Xbox One X retails for $499.99 and those who pick one up during the promotional period will get a Sea of Thieves digital copy absolutely free. This promotion is being offered in most Xbox One markets starting March 18th through March 24th. Start and end dates vary by market, Microsoft cautions, so customers should check with their location retailers for more information.

Those who are not willing to purchase the Xbox One X can opt for the Xbox One S bundle instead. It costs $299.99 and includes the Xbox One S with 1TB hard drive, an Xbox Wireless Controller, and a full-game download of Sea of Thieves. The bundle also includes a one-month subscription of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.
