Samsung officially unveiled its 2018 QLED TV lineup earlier this month and while the company didn’t confirm pricing on launch day, it has now revealed how much it’s going to charge for the new models. Samsung’s 2018 QLED TV lineup includes the Q9, Q8, Q7, and Q6 models all of which are available in different sizes in both curved and flat variants.

Samsung promises improved contrast ratio with the new lineup with 100 percent color volume. The new TVs have a Direct Fully Array which regulates brightness, it uses a full grid of LED backlights in order to accurately illuminate sections of the screen to provide the best image quality possible.

Bixby also makes its way to Samsung TVs with this lineup. It enables the TV to double as a hub for smart home devices via the SmartThings Cloud and also offers all voice-activated features that Samsung users have come to expect from Bixby ever since it was introduced with the Galaxy S8 last year.

Samsung introduced the new Ambient Mode with the 2018 QLED TVs as well. It rebuilt the off-screen of the TV into a display that shows relevant information and pictures of art. The information that can be displayed in Ambient Mode includes weather, time, news as well as pictures and videos.

Prices for Samsung’s new 2018 QLED TVs start at $1,499 for the cheapest model which is the 55 inch QN55Q6F. The most expensive model is the 82 inch QN82Q6F which costs $4,499. All other models are priced in this range and listed on Samsung’s website.
