Recently it was revealed that OnePlus is working on an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6. No word on how much it would cost, but if you were hoping that it would be priced like a OnePlus handset, you could be mistaken because according to reports out of China, the handset could cost around $800.
The report comes from MyDrivers (via PhoneArena) where they claim that the Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 will be a limited edition handset that will be priced at $800. From what we know about the OnePlus 6’s pricing, at least based on the rumors, it is expected to cost a little over $500 for the base model, which means that $800 would be a huge premium over the regular version of the phone.
However none of this can be confirmed yet so it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now. In terms of what features the Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 could sport, it’s really anyone’s guess but if it’s anything like OnePlus 5T Star Wars handset, we’re expecting an exclusive coat of paint along with some Avengers media like wallpapers, ringtones, and etc. preloaded onto the handset.
As it stands there is still no launch date for the OnePlus 6, but last we heard it could be launched on the 18th of May, a little under a month following the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War movie.
