Dell has refreshed its PC lineup for the spring which includes the Dell XPS 15 notebook. This year’s model of this popular notebook features the latest processors from Intel even though it looks more or less the same as its predecessor from last year. Nevertheless, it does bring the latest in mobile processors from Intel and that’s what really matters after all.

The entry-level model in this new lineup comes with the new six-core H-series processor from Intel with integrated graphics. Customers will be able to configure the notebook with up to the flagship Core i9 processor which according to Intel is its first mobile processor with six cores and 12 threads. The company describes it as “the best gaming and creation laptop processor Intel has ever built.”

There’s even support for up to 32GB of RAM. The other configuration options include up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The entry-level models will feature a 56WHr battery while the more expensive models will feature a 97WHr battery.

Dell is going to start taking pre-orders for the new XPS 15 on its website from April 16th. Prices for the refreshed XPS 15 start at $1,000 and go up from there depending on the configuration purchased.
