While Square Enix might be done with the Hitman franchise after dropping the game’s developer IO Interactive last year, the good news is that the Hitman franchise isn’t going anywhere because if you recall, the folks at Warner Bros. announced earlier this month that they would be taking up publishing duties for the game.

It is unclear when the next Hitman game will be published, but it seems that it could be soon because thanks to the ratings board from Korea and Australia, they might have accidentally revealed the existence of a game called Hitman: Sniper Assassin. The game has yet to be officially announced so presumably it will be a brand new title, although it has been pointed out that the title of the game does sound similar to previous Hitman releases, such as Hitman: Sniper for iOS and Android, and Hitman: Sniper Challenge.

According to the ratings board listing, Hitman: Sniper Assassin is expected to be released on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC, but other than that it does not mention when the game will be released or what we might be able to expect from it. In any case E3 2018 is coming up in the next month or so, so perhaps we will learn more about it then.
