OnePlus is slowly hyping up its next-generation flagship smartphone which it has already confirmed is going to be called the OnePlus 6. The company has confirmed nuggets of information about the specifications of this handset and now OnePlus CEO Carl Pei has posted fresh OnePlus 6 camera samples to his Weibo account to highlight the performance of the handset’s dual rear cameras.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau posted some new OnePlus 6 camera samples to his Weibo account which is the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. The pictures were shot at Stanford, California.

All of the OnePlus 6 camera samples that have been posted highlight the performance of the dual camera system at the back in bright conditions. They also highlight the bokeh effect that it can place in photos. It’s possible that the next batch of samples that Pei posts on his Weibo account might showcase the camera’s performance in low light conditions.

OnePlus is yet to confirm the camera specifications of its new handset but recent reports suggest that it may feature a 20 megapixel + 16 megapixel dual rear camera. A similar camera setup can also be found on the existing OnePlus 5T which has already been sold out in many markets. However, it’s likely that the camera on the new handset will come with additional enhancements as one would expect.

The company is yet to confirm, though, when the OnePlus 6 is going to be officially announced and how much it’s going to cost. What we do know is that it’s going to have a display notch and that it’s going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
