Ubisoft had already confirmed that it’s going to release an Xbox One X patch for The Division which will enable the title to leverage the additional performance offered by Microsoft’s most powerful console yet. It has now confirmed The Division Xbox One X patch release date. The patch is going to be out in less than two weeks.

The Division Xbox One X patch is going to bring 4K rendering to the title alongside improved reflections, screen-space shadows, object detail, and anisotropic filtering. No word as yet on how this patch is going to compare to the PlayStation 4 Pro version.

Ubisoft confirmed the release date of the patch in its latest State of the Game The Division livestream on Twitch. It announced that patch 1.8.1 for the title is going to be released on April 12th. Aside from the patch, the update also brings two new Global Events and two new Legendary Missions.

The Division’s update 1.8.1 is currently being tested by Ubisoft on the public test server. Ubisoft has now confirmed that the much-awaited Xbox One X patch for this title is going to be released on April 12th. It also confirmed the successor to this title not too long ago, The Division 2 will be revealed in more detail at this year’s E3 gaming convention.
