Bethesda started teasing the potential launch of a new Fallout title earlier this week and the publisher officially confirmed yesterday that the new game is going to be called Fallout 76. No further details are available at this point in time as Bethesda will be providing them during its E3 2018 press event. However, those who just can’t wait for the title can now pre-order Fallout 76 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC from Amazon sight unseen.

Fallout 76 is a new title which is going to explore events hundreds of years before Fallout 4 which Bethesda released back in 2015. It will explore the Wasteland from a new angle.

Previous titles in this franchise have been single-player RPG experiences but if a new report is to be believed, Fallout 76 might actually be an online survival RPG inspired by similar titles such as Rust and DayZ. The game is still expected to feature a story and quests but with additional mechanics such as base building. None of this has been officially confirmed by Bethesda, though, which will formally reveal more information about Fallout 76 on June 10th at its E3 2018 event.

The pre-order listing for the title is now live on Amazon. It can be pre-ordered for $59.99 and while the listing mentions a release date of December 31st, 2019, it’s most likely a placeholder since Bethesda is expected to release Fallout 76 later this year.
