The thing about running an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant is that the development never really ends. The companies behind them have to continue adding new features and apps so that users can continue to rely on them to make their lives easier. Google Assistant was recently found to be the most accurate amongst the competition and that’s the result of Google’s continuous work on the technology. In a bid to further improve the capabilities, the company today announced that it’s now going to invest in early-stage startups that develop apps for the Assistant ecosystem.

Google has launched a new program today through which it’s going to invest in early-stage startups that build applications for the Google Assistant ecosystem. Aside from money, Google will also provide them with advice from its engineers, product managers, and design experts who will share their technical guidance and provide feedback during the development process.

These startups will get access to the Google Cloud Platform which is the same suite of cloud computing services that run on the same infrastructure that Google uses for core products like Search and YouTube. The startups will also receive promotional support through Google’s marketing channels for greater visibility of their applications.

Those who are interested in partnering with the Google Assistant team can check out this program’s website and get in touch with the company.
