Thinking about getting your hands on the recently announced LG G7 ThinQ? If you are, you might be interested to learn that according to a tweet by LG Canada, it seems that in a bid to help promote the phone and encourage customers to purchase it, LG will be giving customers a free 4K smart TV.

However as you might have suspected from the origin of the tweet, it seems that this is only applicable to those living in Canada, so if you are from Canada then perhaps this might be of interest to you. It is unclear if LG plans on running a similar promotion in the US or if they might have something else planned.

For those who are living in Canada, the conditions are that you will have to pre-order the phone between 18th of May to the 31st of May in order to qualify for it. Once you do, you will need to head on over to LG’s website and submit an online claim form together with proof of your purchase, after which you will be able to redeem a 43-inch 4K smart TV with model number 43UK6300.

The website also lists the various carriers and retailers that are participating in this giveaway, so head on over if you’d like to check it out. The TV itself is worth around CAD$600 which make it a pretty good and practical gift, especially if you’re in the market for a new TV.
