T-Mobile first started rolling out the much-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for the LG V30 and V30+ on its network some three weeks ago, however, the company ended up halting the rollout soon after the release. Now, almost a month after it was first released, the Oreo update is now finally being released once again for the V30 and V30+ on T-Mobile’s network.

T-Mobile initially released the Oreo update for these devices in the first week of this month. Owners could upgrade their devices through LG Bridge or manually by downloading and installing the OTA package. The carrier halted the rollout about five days later following multiple reports about bugs and issues with the update.

The carrier has addressed all of the issues and has thus started rolling out the firmware update once again. It’s rolling out software version H93220h for the LG V30 and V30+ on its network and aside from bringing everything that’s part and parcel of Android 8.0 Oreo, this update also includes the April 2018 security patch.

T-Mobile is rolling out the update in phases in a bid to prevent network congestion so don’t worry if you own one of the devices on T-Mobile and have yet to receive and over-the-air update notification. One should be landing on your device in the not too distant future.
