Huawei announced three new MediaPad M5 tablets at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in February this year and the new tablets are now finally available for purchase in the United States. Interested customers can purchase a MediaPad M5 8.4 inch, M5 10.8 inch, and the M5 10.8 inch Pro in starting today. They’re available for purchase from Newegg and Amazon.

All three tablets have more or less the same specifications. They feature 2K resolution displays, Huawei’s Kirin 960 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 13 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front cameras, Android 8.0, and a USB Type-C port. They’re equipped with a microSD card slot as well for external memory expansion.

One major difference with the MediaPad M5 10.8 inch Pro is that it ships with the M-Pen stylus in the box and its display has 4096-level pressure for that reason.

We mentioned in our Huawei MediaPad M5 review that the new tablets deliver good performance for the price even though it doesn’t have the HDR-ready screen panel like its rival the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 does.

Huawei is only selling the 64GB variant of the tablet in the United States. The 8.4 inch MediaPad M5 costs $319.99 while the 10.8 inch and the 10.8 inch Pro costs $359.99 and $449.99 respectively on Amazon and Newegg.
