It seems that HMD Global, the company that makes Nokia-branded smartphones now, isn’t quite done with launching new smartphones this year. It announced five new handsets at MWC 2018 in February and followed them up with three more in May. The latest leaked renders suggest that it has another device in the pipeline, the Nokia 5.1 Plus. This appears to be another Android One device from the company.

The leaked renders show that this device is going to have a notched display but it’s not going to be bezel-less enough compared to other Android devices. The Nokia logo appears to be placed on the chin on this device which is chunky itself and not really on the bezel-less trend.

The handset seems to have a metal frame and may retain the 3.5mm headphone jack alongside the USB Type-C port. There will be a vertical dual camera system at the back with an LED flash with the fingerprint sensor located below that.

The technical specifications of this device aren’t available at this point in time but it may not be long until we get some information about them as well. It’s unclear at this point in time when HMD Global is planning on launching the Nokia 5.1 Plus.
