More Reports Hint At Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Packing 512GB Of Storage

Pretty much all smartphones on the market today cap out at 256GB of native storage. This can be expanded on some phones via microSD, but like we said we’re referring to native storage. However the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could break the mold and feature 512GB of storage.

We’ve been hearing this rumor for a while now, but it looks like there could be evidence that this is true. This is according to a couple of tweets (via SamMobile) that shows alleged listings of the handset that mentions 512GB of storage, while another tweet claims that the 512GB variant could be limited to certain markets such as Korea and China.

It’s hard to tell if these claims are true, but it should be pointed out that back in December last year, Samsung announced that they had begun mass producing 512GB of embedded storage. We’re not sure why the Galaxy S9 did not receive the new storage option, perhaps it was too late in the development cycle, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung were to take advantage of this and offer it in the Note 9.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you feel that even 256GB of storage is too little for your liking, the Note 9 could help with that.
