Following the success of the first season of Castlevania on Netflix, it wasn’t surprising that a second season was ordered. Earlier this year it was announced that the second season is expected to launch this summer, but it seems that it has now been delayed and pushed back to later in the year.
For those who are anticipating the second season, Castlevania season 2 will now launch on Netflix come 26th of October, 2018. This isn’t a particularly long delay but for those who were looking forward to the series will have to wait a tad longer. It is unclear what might have caused the delay, but we suppose better late than never.
The second season of Castlevania will also be longer where the first season was admittedly rather short with four 20-minute episodes. The second season will double on that with a total of eight episodes. In the meantime a report from last month also seemed to confirm that a third season had been ordered.
Not much is known about the third season or when it will be released, but chances are we are looking at a 2019 launch at the earliest, but it is unclear as to how many episodes there could be.
