Now that Samsung has confirmed that it will be unveiling the new Galaxy Note flagship at an event next month, many are wondering how much the company is going to charge for the handset. Samsung will only reveal this information at the official event but it appears that a new leak may have possibly revealed the Galaxy Note 9 price.

The leak originates from Poland where two sources, including one claimed to be a local Samsung representative, have confirmed that the handset is going to cost PLN 4,299 which is around $1,160 after conversion.

A simple conversion is obviously never a good indicator of just how much the device is going to cost in different regions across the globe but it does give us an idea of the price range. The Galaxy Note 8 was priced at $950 when it was launched last year so this leak suggests that the new price may also be in this range.

It’s also mentioned that the Galaxy Note 9 is going to be released on August 24th. This is the second time that we’re hearing this possible Galaxy Note 9 release date. A report out of South Korea earlier this week had claimed that the Galaxy Note 9 release has been slated for August 24th.

Samsung will officially confirm the pricing and release information about its upcoming flagship handset at its event in New York City on August 9th.
