HMD Global had confirmed last month that it’s going to launch the Nokia 3.1 budget smartphone in the United States come July. The company has followed through and the Nokia 3.1 is now available for purchase in the country. HMD had already started taking pre-orders for the device a few weeks back and the Nokia 3.1 is now readily available for purchase.

The Nokia 3.1 is a bonafide budget smartphone with its machined metal frame and sculpted glass display. The company had provided a premium look to the device with metal accents and dual diamond cuts.

The Nokia 3.1 is HMD Global’s most affordable smartphone with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The device features a MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Aside from the 5.2 inch HD+ panel, it also has a 13 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera as well as a 2,990mAh battery. This is an Android One device.

The Nokia 3.1 is available for purchase in the United States from today. It’s priced at $159 and is available from Amazon and Best Buy. There’s a product page for this device up on B&H as well but with just a pre-order button so maybe the retailer will update the availability information for this handset soon.
