Audi had mentioned last month that it has developed an electric supercar concept which it will reveal in August. The company has invited us at the world premiere of its Audi PB 18 e-tron electric supercar concept reveal which will take place on August 23rd at the Pebble Beach Car Week. The Audi PB 18 e-tron has been conceived and designed by the new Audi Design Loft in Malibu, California.

Audi will be unveiling its electric supercar concept as part of the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion reception at the Laguna Seca racetrack. It may be the first electric supercar concept from the company but it’s far from the only EV concept we have seen from the German auto giant.

The company revealed two years ago that it aims to launch three electric cars by 2020. It revealed the e-tron SUV concept at the CES 2016 and then e-tron Sportback at the Auto Shanghai event last year.

The Audi Elaine is another concept that the company showcased last year. Not only does it have the same name as our co-founder (well, almost), it was presented as an all-electric sports car that was capable of driving itself while offering a range of at least 300 miles on a single charge. The concept even had artificial intelligence features which enabled it to find a parking garage or a spot on the street to park itself.
