A couple of months ago during E3 2018, Bethesda announced that a new Doom game was in the works in the form of DOOM Eternal. Details were scarce but Bethesda did promise that more information would be made available at Quakecon 2018. For those who are interested in the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that the gameplay trailer has been released.

According to the description of the trailer, “With a redesigned set of armor, and an arsenal of new equipment, your fight against the onslaught of Hell continues. Take on twice as many demons in DOOM Eternal, including fan favorites from classic DOOM titles like the Archvile, Pain Elemental, and the Arachnotron.”

DOOM Eternal has also been announced for all platforms, meaning that it will be launched on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch. Given how the previous DOOM game was released on the Switch, we suppose it’s not surprising that DOOM Eternal has also been announced for the console as well. Unfortunately there is no mention of when the game will be released, so gamers will just have to keep their eyes peeled.

In the meantime if you have about 30 minutes or so to spare, you can check out the gameplay trailer in the video above to get an idea of what to expect from the game.
