Xiaomi make all kinds of products. While they might be known to many as being a smartphone maker, the company has dabbled in a variety of products across a variety of sectors, ranging from smart home devices, to bicycles, to drones, and more recently it looks like the company is getting into gaming peripherals with the launch of their own mechanical keyboard.

Dubbed the (somewhat uncreatively named) Game Keyboard, this is a mechanical keyboard aimed at gamers who don’t want to spend too much money. It is priced at 229 yuan which when converted is around $33, making it possibly one of the cheapest mechanical gaming keyboards out there in the market today.

The layout of the keyboard is pretty standard as it will feature 104 keys. There will also be RGB backlighting, and a metal cover. There will also be built-in anti-ghosting technology with support for 33 n-key rollover, and there will also be support for users to change the way the RGB lighting is displayed, where they can choose between different patterns.

Also from what we can tell, the Game Keyboard will be using TTC Red switches and that appears to be the only option available. It’s definitely not the most impressive or functional mechanical keyboard we’ve seen targeted at gamers, but for $33 it’s hard to complain.
