It was expected that a Yakuza title would soon be released for the PC and that’s exactly what has happened today. Yakuza 0, the much-loved prequel to the Yakuza series, has been officially released for the PC today through Steam. It’s the first title in the series to land on the platform. Yakuza 0 is the very first game in the series to be released for the PC.

It brings additional features for this platform such as support for 4K resolution and an unlocked framerate. There’s also full support for controllers and remappable keys. This isn’t the only Yakuza title that PC gamers will be able to play.

Yakuza Kiwami, a part of this popular franchise, is headed to the PC as well. It’s a remake of the first game. In Yakuza 0, players will “fight like hell” through Tokyo and Osaka as junior yakuza Kiryu and Majima. The game is set in 1980s Japan and promises to provide an experience that’s “unlike anything else.”

Players will be able to switch between three different fighting stylus immediately and will be able to take combat up a notch by using environmental objects such as car doors, sign posts, and bicycles. Yakuza 0 can now be purchased from Steam. The game costs $21.99.
