12/13/2009, It seems that the Internet is awash with news on the Google Nexus One (a.k.a. the Google Phone). Now it seems that the phone is busy exploring the Internet, as not just one, but multiple sites have reported a “Nexus One” showing up in the traffic logs, and it’s running Android 2.1. Webmasters out there, has the Nexus One paid your site a visit yet?
12/03/2009, A leak of the Android 2.1 ROM has unveiled a bunch of codenames for current as well as future HTC Android handsets, where among them include (take a deep breath now) Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream, Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion, Sapphire and Supersonic. We can’t wait to see the hardware which ought to live up to these codenames.
11/30/2009, Someone spotted the HTC Hero which is running on Android 2.1, which more or less confirms that Google has a minor update in the works for their Eclair update. The interface doesn’t look too changed from its 1.5 version, and we still have no idea when all of it will be available since other carrier-branded versions might have to wait for a fair bit.
