Archos is a French consumer electronics company that manufactures tablets, eReaders, MP3 players, media players, and notebooks. The company once manufactured portable storage devices, digital camcorders, and portable computers. It was founded in 1988 by Henri Crohas. Popular products include the Archos 9 PC Tablet, the Archos 133 PC 13.3-inch netbook, the Archos 5 Internet tablet, and the Archos 8 home tablet. Archos is also famous for its Arnova series. Arnova, previously known as Archos Technology Hong Kong, is now called Arnova Technology Hong Kong China. Arnova uses the designs from Archos and both share productions and distribution facilities.
