12/04/2009, Bell looks set to join the Android party (albeit very late) with other mobile carriers in Canada with the Samsung Galaxy i7500 ready to rock the Great White North this coming December 10th. Apart from that, the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372 also comes with a […]
11/08/2009, It wasn’t too long ago that Bell dropped the asking price of the Palm Pre to CAD $149.95, but (probably thanks to the holiday season) the price has further plummeted to CAD $99.95, albeit with a 3-year contract, but who cares, right? Would you pick up the Palm Pre for that price, and accept the 3-year contract?
10/31/2009, Bell should be feeling rather smug; as the announcement is out that the Samsung Omnia II will be exclusive to Bell. In case you’ve forgotten, this is the phone that is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5, sports a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and 7.2Mbps UMTS/HSPA connectivity. The Omnia II has also earned the title of the “Official Mobile Device of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games”, […]
10/26/2009, Slowly but surely, the iPhone initial exclusive deals with select carriers around the world is fading away. Carriers have taken notice that an iPhone deal will boost their data usage (and their bottom-line), and for Apple, it’s a logical step to grab market share more rapidly than waiting (or hoping) that users will switch networks. Apple needs this to keep the pace at which iPhone has been growing.
10/07/2009, Both Bell and Telus will be on the receiving end of the iPhone 3GS sometime next month, but that’s about all the news we have since we don’t know how much they’ll cost nor when their specific release date is. If you’re a loyal subscriber to either network and have been hankering after the iPhone 3GS since its launch, now would be a good time to start saving up and […]

08/04/2009, Looks like folks who are looking forward to the Palm Pre from Bell will have to wait just a few more weeks, as website “Future Shop” has stated boldly that the Palm Pre will be out on the 27th of this month, giving yet another option to Canadians who might also choose from placing a pre-order in-store at a Bell location, Future Shop and Best Buy.
05/15/2009, This is one phoenix that won’t rise out from the ashes – the rather basic m230 Phoenix from Samsung that is currently available from Bell. It comes in only one boring colors, which is grey, featuring an external display that shows the time and messages received, while the internal 1.9″ display has a resolution of 96 x 96. You can choose from either English or French languages, while SMS threads […]
05/13/2009, Bell’s inventory has shown an appearance of the BlackBerry Tour 9630, where it will retail for a whopping $510. Does this mean the smartphone will come unlocked, and will that translate to a Tour that is unavailable on a contract basis? Nothing is set in stone just yet, but assuming Bell keeps to its tradition of its pricing scheme with a data plan discount, we could be looking at a […]
05/06/2009, Bell Mobility will be the carrier of choice when the Palm Pre arrives in the Great White North, and it will be tied to Bell Mobility on an exclusive basis to boot. This announcement makes Bell the second carrier in the world to date to announce the 3G-capable Pre, and Bell Mobility hopes that the unique user experience of the webOS-powered smartphone alongside Canada’s largest 3G network will see the […]
