11/12/2009, With everybody busy mounting an assault on Apple’s iPhone, it looks like Dell hasn’t ignored Apple’s Mac mini, as can be seen by Dell’s Zino HD. As its name indicates, the Zino HD sports a HD-capable integrated graphics, HDMI output and built-in networking. To be honest, it looks a little like a black color Mac mini, don’t you think? With the starting price of $229, it’s not all that pricey, […]
11/10/2009, A few months back, with the imminent release of Windows 7, HP, Dell and other manufacturers were busy telling customers that they would be eligible for a Windows 7 upgrade when it is released, obviously because they wanted to clear off the existing stock. Now it seems that many folks are complaining that they haven’t received their upgrade kits yet, and it’s been more than a week or 2 since […]
11/09/2009, Looks like the highly customizable Dell Mini 9 gets another uncertified feather in its cap with news of a mod that involves a built-in accelerometer to enhance the touchscreen-enabled Dell Mini 9. At least you won’t have to wait for the rumored Apple Tablet before you have fun with this mod.
11/06/2009, You saw a picture of the Dell Mini 3iX over in Brazil a couple of days back, and now the Mini 3iX has taken the time to pay the FCC a visit (and get its approval). Sporting 850/1900 GSM and UMTS bands, the phone will also sport Wi-Fi, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 640 x 360 resolution, A-GPS, 3-megapixel camera and also support for Microsoft Exchange. There isn’t any mention […]
11/05/2009, Dell just announced that its Dell Adamo XPS, a laptop that is only 9.99mm (4/10″) thin, will ship this month. The laptop that used to be shown behind closed doors as a “prototype” will now make its debut as a product for this holiday season. You’ve seen the leaks, the photos, the teasers, and now you’re finally getting the real price: Adamo XPS starts at $1799. Dell has gone through a lot […]
11/03/2009, Looks like someone managed to catch an image of the Android-powered Dell Mini 3iX smartphone in Brazil, where it looks similar to the China-bound model externally, although internally the Brazil model is superior thanks to Wi-Fi and 3G UMTS/HSDPA connectivity alongside tri-band (850/1900/2100MHz) network support. Still, there isn’t any word on pricing or availability of the Dell Mini 3iX, so we’ll just have to be patient with this one.
11/02/2009, Sprint will be offering a subsidized version of the Dell Mini 10 today, where this little netbook will boast an internal EVDO Revision A modem for 3G access wherever you are, freeing you from being overly reliant on the availability of Wi-Fi networks wherever you are. Otherwise, everything else within ought to remain the same including an Intel Atom 1.33GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP […]
10/23/2009, Novatel’s FCC filing points toward a rugged Dell Latitude XT2 XFR that will probably be the first rugged tablet from the company to date. It will share the same button layout as with the XT2, although this one comes with thick rubber bumpers on the sides to help shield it from shocks or drops, alongside a thicker monitor hinge for that added touch of quality. The trackpad remains accessible even […]
10/21/2009, Dell’s latest would be the SX2210T 21.5-inch multitouch monitor where it offers all the goodness and glory of multitouch capability without having to purchase an all-in-one computer, making it easier to have a powerful machine with such a modern monitor. This isn’t an officially available monitor just yet despite being shown on Dell’s site, but we do know that it will come with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a 1,000:1 […]
10/18/2009, We’ve shown you picture’s of Dell’s super slim Adamo XPS before this, and now it seems that the $2000 Adamo XPS will sport a heat-sensing strip on the lip which, when swiped with a finger, will glow white and automatically open the aluminum lid. It’s nothing that will help you improve your productivity, but you certainly have to agree that it will make your Adamo XPS look a lot cooler […]
10/13/2009, Kudos to Rob928 for coming up with the first publicized Dell Mini 9 slate tablet mod in the world, where it relied on a Vostro A90, a Honda Fun and Easy touchscreen kit alongside a whole lot of love and patience. This ain’t no multi-touch display though, which means you might want to be a bit more careful when using it so as not to carelessly rest your palm on […]
10/08/2009, Dell knows that the Major League Baseball postseason is already underway, and with the World Series fast approaching, fans will go all out to make sure that their favorite teams are being cheered on in any way possible – and Dell helps them by offering a new collection of customized artwork in a collaboration with Major League Baseball Properties, where you can choose from three choices of specially conjured designs […]
