02/24/2012, Remember the Dell XPS 13 that was unveiled at CES last month? Well the ultrabook was scheduled to arrive at the end of February and it looks like it might be on track. Apparently the manuals for the Dell XPS 13 were leaked on Dell’s official website a few days ago and have been removed since then. Usually, leaked manuals mean that a product is ready and with less than […]
01/23/2012, LG and Samsung 55” OLED TV, At CES, both LG and Samsung have committed to commercialize large-size OLED televisions by the end of the year. While no pricing has been announced yet, the rumored price is said to be hovering around $8000. We don’t know how close this is to reality, but it’s fair to assume that most people won’t be able to afford one the first models. Fortunately, OLED […]
01/17/2012, Dell’s Alienware X51 desktop gaming PC marks a major turn for the Alienware brand. We all know the brand for its “absolute performance” orientation, and if you’ve tried to lift a “classic” Alienware Desktop system, you know that these were not the kind of things that one would put in a living room, or bring to a friend’s place for an afternoon. The Alienware X51 is just the opposite: it’s […]
01/17/2012, Dell might have stopped selling the Streak 7 in the US, but that does not mean there is no more life in this particular tablet. No sir, a community of unofficial developers have come together to conjure a beta build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, where they borrowed several elements from the Cyanogenmod team. There is a giant disclaimer over here just in case you think that your Streak […]
01/11/2012, Dell has stamped their intention to roll out their first consumer tablet device sometime later this year, and this will certainly intensify the competition in an already crowded market that had seen the end of bitter rival HP’s TouchPad sometime last year. Dell has had its fair share of downs when it comes to the mobile device market, where we have seen their Streak range discontinued in the US (although […]
01/10/2012, [CES 2012] In the past, Dell has not been known for its forte in product design. Instead, the brand’s reputation relied more on its ability to provide affordable computers for the masses. With the rise of the iPhone and the constant domination of Apple on the high-end laptops market segment (over $1000), the Austin-based company decided last year to operate a drastic shift in brand and product positioning to increase […]

12/16/2011, Netbooks were sort of an alternative to laptops as they tended to be smaller, thus allowing for more mobility if all you wanted to do was surf the web and type up some documents. However it looks like under the pressure of the ever-increasing popularity of the ultrabook standard, Dell has appeared to have backed out from the Mini netbook line.

12/07/2011, I know, Dell has already discontinued most of their Streak tablet devices that do run on the Android operating system, and it seems as though the computing giant is still keeping the faith with Windows 7 – strange choice, actually. After all, how many Windows 7 tablets do you know of in the market, compared to the gazillion and one Android-powered ones? Well, just for your information, it seems as […]
12/05/2011, It looks like Dell has called it quits on yet another Android product, this time in the form of the Dell Streak 7. It was “confirmed” today via Dell’s website which states that the “Streak 7 is no longer available online”, which seems to suggest that if you plan on getting your hands on the device, you might want to check online retailers or brick and mortar stores.
