11/27/2009, Want to place your DSLR camera in a place where you can’t (or don’t want to) hang around, yet still get the shot? Well, check out the Pro-View, which has a transmitter that clips over the eye-piece mount and broadcasts the image it sees over 500 feet to the receiver, which sports a 3.5-inch VGA display. The receive will be able to receive signals from up to 4 Pro-View transmitters […]
10/30/2009, Sony hasn’t had a vey good track record where its future DSLR offerings are concerned, with the latest among them being the A750 which is expected to come with a 14.6-megapixel full frame sensor. No idea on what the other specifications are within the A750 though, so we will most probably have to wait until CES 2010 rolls around before more information is divulged.
10/29/2009, While the folks at Olympus did not make any official mention of the E-P2, there have been screenshots of the device model number on the Olympus China website, where the page has now been removed although not before thousands of people (perhaps millions by now) have seen it online. Since the cat is out of the bag now, why not make an official announcement on the E-P2, hmmm?
10/26/2009, If you’re a naturally indecisive person, we would advise you to well steer clear of the Pentax K-x digital SLR as you will probably wait for 3 more generations of dSLRs to pass by before you can make a purchase decision. Why do we say that? Well, it comes in a choice of 100 colors and an equal number of styles, as the body alone will have 20 colors to […]

Well, you could always plonk for Pentax’s rather uniquely designed cartoony version of its K-x DSLR. The colors and design were based on the Kore Ja Nai Robo cartoon, but who cares, as long as you’re different, right?
09/16/2009, Our friends from photorumors are telling us that the Pentax K-X is coming out tomorrow. Apparently, the leak came from a snafu and the images have been posted early. 08/31/2009, Olympus has announced its E-600 digital camera which is basically a more affordable version of the current E-620 model that was introduced earlier this February, where it lacks backlit buttons as well as three art filter modes in the firmware – both of which are available in the E-620. Apart from that, shutterbugs who are well informed will also notice that the E-600 misses out on the E-620′s two-shot multi-exposure […]
08/27/2009, Sony has finally revealed the full-frame A850 DSLR alongside a couple more models – the mid-range A550 and A500 DSLRs which will further expand the current Alpha family. The A850 is a slightly toned down A900 despite retaining a similar 24.6-megapixel sensor, while costing $1,000 less than the A900 to retail for approximately $2,000. As for the A550 and A500, both models will fit in nicely with the rest of […]
07/30/2009, We’ll spare you reading through the extremely long press release that commemorated with the Nikon D300s announcement, and get straight to the point. The body alone will cost $1,799.95, where it will feature the […]

After all, Leica’s latest S-System has just been announced, where the body alone will retail for a whopping £15,996 – don’t forget to set aside even more money to bring home at least a lens or two! 07/22/2009, The Sony Style US website might have (or have not) leaked a new type of DLSR range, where the Sony a500, Sony a550 and Sony a850 were listed. This ought to be true, we guess, since a rather similar leak occured at Sony Style Canada’s website a few months back, albeit without listing the a850. Word on the street has it that these new range of Sony DSLR cameras will […]
07/15/2009, Electrophysics has release a new high performance night vision module that will play nice with digital SLR cameras from Canon, including the EOS-1Ds Mark III and EOS 5D Mark II. Used in conjunction with the new AstroScope 9350EOS-FF, these digital cameras will offer bright, high-resolution green images of night-time scenes. You won’t suffer from a drop in image quality since the night vision module itself will fit between the camera […]
07/07/2009, Pentax’s latest K-7 DSLR camera is now officially available via Amazon. Out as a body-only device, there doesn’t seem to be any bundles in sight at the moment, although the body alone will set you back by a whopping $1,300. Needless to say, at that price point, this 14.6-megapixel shooter is definitely the flagship product from Pentax, and it doesn’t come up short either when it comes to capturing 720p […]
