03/28/2012, Just in case you were wondering how come the Samsung Epic 4G Touch looks so familiar, that is because this is the Samsung Galaxy S2 version that was specially made for Sprint. I frankly do not like the idea of renaming the same device just because it is meant for a different manufacturer, as it does nothing but introduce all the more confusion among the general populace. You would really […]

This juicy bit of […]

09/19/2011, Just last week we reported that the Samsung Epic Touch 4G had it source code released by Samsung, in an effort to give back to the Android developer’s community. Unfortunately at that time, the source code release and all its mods and ROMs that followed would be pretty much moot unless the device itself was rooted.

Here’s what they discovered: the weather widget saying “Kansas City” – which is near Sprint’s headquarters. The date on the clock widget says “Friday 09/09″ – which is the rumored date that […]
08/02/2011, Sprint will be one of the carriers who will be offering the high end Samsung Galaxy S II, where it has been called the “Galaxy Within” as discovered in a leak earlier this May under the accessories range. That might have been a red herring, since a new report has been released with Sprint’s version of the Galaxy S II being known as the “Samsung Epic Touch 4G”. Touted for […]
