08/01/2011, It looks like the regular consumer market isn’t enough for Samsung; it’s now targeting to get its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets into the hands of students as well. Samsung Mobile has just announced that the University of Southern Mississippi will offer the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet to students that participate in an Honors College pilot program, starting this fall.
08/01/2011, If you live in Australia and you’ve been meaning to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 you may be out of luck. If you can recall Apple and Samsung are still embroiled in a legal dispute over patent infringement and product likeness, with Apple claiming that Samsung had copied the designs of their iPhone and iPad.
07/26/2011, One more day – how much can be done in 24 hours? It really depends on who you are talking to – a choleric would have more or less have the day (and months ahead) all planned out), while the more phlegmatic among us might smile at the good fortune of having another 24 hours to while away. Well, 24 hours is the amount of time you more or less […]

07/19/2011, Earlier on today we had reported on an Apple Smart Cover lookalike for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 by the company Anymode. While Samsung had not actually authorized the production of said cover or designed it themselves, their tacit approval spoke volumes. It seemed a little odd that they would approve of a product so similar in design to Apple’s Smart Cover, considering that both companies are currently in […]
07/13/2011, Is it me, or is it Samsung who loves churning out many variants of the same device? That seems to be the case, what with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 now potentially sporting yet another model after the latest one has passed through the FCC, where it was most likely designed to support Asian markets. Better known as the SHW-M300S if model numbers are your cup of tea, the Galaxy Tab […]
06/29/2011, We do know that 4G speeds far surpass what 3G offers, and while there is a plethora of 3G supporting devices out there on the market (tablets, smartphones, netbooks, feature phones, you name it), 4G devices are far fewer in between. Verizon Wireless intends to help turn the tide in 4G’s favor by finally opening up the doors for one to place a pre-order for a 4G capable Samsung Galaxy […]

06/13/2011, While we have most airlines opting to use the iPad as in-flight entertainment, we have one airline that has chosen not to succumb to the trend, by offering a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 instead. American Airlines has just announced a deal with Samsung that will place its 10.1″ tablet into the hands of passengers who are flying Premium Class on the airline. The tablets will be customized for the airline’s […]
06/10/2011, Great news for everyone who managed to snag one of the limited edition Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets from the latest Google I/O event. It has been reported that the OTA update that brings the tablet up to Android 3.1 is current rolling out to tablets right now. Besides the previously announced features for Android 3.1 Honeycomb (USB host access, rentals, performance improvements etc), no word on what else the update […]
06/09/2011, Samsung has just released a new advert for its Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi tablet, and unsurprisingly – it features a customary dig at the iPad by advertising its ability to run Flash. It’s becoming a pretty sad world when Android commercials have to keep bringing up the whole Flash issue just to take digs at iOS. I’m no hater (I use an Android phone myself), but I think that we […]

Just in case you were wondering how far you can stretch […]

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is closest to the iPad 2 in terms of design, where it will boast […]
