11/23/2009, Word has it that the HTC HD2 will benefit from a Windows Mobile 7 upgrade, where this announcement is tipped to happen at Mobile World Congress in February 2010 when Windows Mobile 7 is announced then. This rumor could be very real since the HD2 does match Chassis 1 specifications that were rumored to be the minimum spec for Windows Mobile 7.

Accoriding to HTC’s CEO Peter Chou and Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer , the HTC HD2 will be out early next year for those of us living Stateside, which isn’t too far off actually with just 2 months on the calendar left to go.
