11/17/2011, This one was a given, but we can’t help but love it when it has been officially confirmed. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has been officially confirmed by Samsung UK to receive the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update, although there was no dates mentioned, apart from the promise that they will keep us posted.
11/09/2011, Heads up UK residents, if you were hoping to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus come 17th of November, you could be in for a disappointment. It seems that according to Amazon UK’s Galaxy Nexus Page along with reports of customers receiving emails from Amazon, the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been pushed back to the 2nd of December at the very earliest.
11/09/2011, It looks like HTC will be unveiling more than one phone at MWC 2012. Apart from the HTC Edge, it seems that another HTC device has been outed in the form of the HTC Ville. According to BGR, the HTC Ville is set to be released some time in April of 2012 and will be running on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

10/21/2011, Earlier today we reported that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 SDK was ported over to the Nexus S 4G, but for those still on their Nexus One handsets, it looks like porting Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 over to your device may not be such a ludicrous idea after all, based on the video below.

The third generation Nexus device by Samsung is now official, and it looks it will be going by the Galaxy Nexus moniker instead of the Nexus Prime name that we have been hearing so much about.
