BenQ has revealed its latest netbook known as the Joybook Lite U102, and while it doesn't pack enough firepower to send any notebook into oblivion in terms of performance, it will still be able to handle just about any everyday computing tasks with aplomb thanks to the Intel Atom processor. Other features include a 10.1” UltraVivid 16:9 WSVGA LED-backlit screen, a 250GB hard drive, enough connectivity options, cramming in a near full size QWERTY keyboard into a package that is no more than 1" thick, tipping the scales at less than 1kg. It comes in a polished obsidian finish where it will be available from June in Taiwan, China, and Thailand.

BenQ has released a new notebook known as the Joybook Lite T131. This 13.3" puppy will be powered by AMD’s Sempron 200U processor, and part of the 1.8kg weight includes a whopping 320GB hard-drive, which is much larger than what most standard notebooks offer. Other features include a 1,280 x 800 resolution display, up to 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and ATI's Mobility Radeon X1270 graphics card. Unfortunately, battery life isn't exactly stellar on this with the six-cell 4,400mAh good for a mere 3 hours of use. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
