11/12/2009, While Kindle is gaining more and more acceptance all over the place, it isn’t without its own problems. One of the problems Kindle is facing is that accessing the audiobook function rather difficult for the visually impaired, mainly because the function is buried rather deep into the system, meaning you’ll need someone with proper vision to activate it. Of course, if it’s a software issue, it shouldn’t be too hard […]
11/10/2009, With the Barnes & Noble Nook getting a good reception, Amazon certainly isn’t going to sit back and let things be. After the iPhone Kindle app, there is the Kindle for PC app, albeit it’s still in Beta. While the app won’t support other formats aside from Kindle ebooks, it’s still a fairly good reader all, though we suspect folks who own an actual Kindle would be happier to stick […]
11/09/2009, It looks like Barnes & Noble’s Nook is going to get off to a flying start in the e-reader business, so much so that the company has already begun telling new customers not to expect delivery on the device (which will be released soon) until the 2nd week of December. Customers who pre-ordered should expect shipment by the end of November, and if you’re placing a pre-order now, expect it […]

There’s also an iPhone app that is already available. You don’t have to have a Kindle device to use the Kindle app for Windows. However, you will need to create an account. The idea is that Windows 7 new found touch-friendliness might make […]
10/22/2009, Barnes & Noble’s Nook has certainly caused a reaction from one of their competitors, Amazon with the Kindle reader. After all, it looks as though Amazon will be canceling the US-only Kindle by consolidating their family of 6″ Kindles, lowering the price to $259 from $279 previously. This would also mean that selected countries will enjoy an unlocked web surfing experience as well to take full advantage of the Kindle. […]
10/18/2009, With the announcement that Amazon would be selling its Kindle in more than 100 countries, MTS is apparently in talked with Amazon over a possible deal to supply the Kindle in Russia. Based on latest reports, MTS wants exclusive sales of the Kindle in Russia, which would be a smart move, considering the popularity of the iPhone. If the deal does go through, sales would start no sooner than 2010, […]

Expected to ship this coming October 19th, it will come with a 6″ display just like its predecessor, although this will be able to download […]

Guess Amazon is feeling the heat from competitors such as Sony, Google, Plastic Logic and others who have released e-book readers of some sort in recent times. According to Jeff Bezos, Amazon is in […]

10/03/2009, After Apple’s amazing success with the iPhone, it’s no surprise to hear rumors of an Apple tablet, which has been going around for some time now. It does seem that there is some credibility to the whole thing, especially since latest reports state that a group led by Time Inc. is looking to come up with a digital store for magazines and sell their content in digital format. With the […]
