Logitech International S.A., popularly known as Logitech, is a Swiss company that develops peripheral devices for PCs. Their products include mice, keyboards, microphones, game controllers, and webcams. The company also makes speakers, headphones, and wireless audio devices for MP3 players and mobile phones. Logitech traces its roots in Switzerland, where Daniel Borel, Pierluigi Zappacosta, Jean-luc Mazzone, and Giacomo Marini founded the company in the year 1981. Logitech's mass-marketed mouse catapulted the company to the mainstream. Since the 1980s, the company has built mice and keyboards for top technology companies including HP, Apple, Dell, and the PlayStation platform.
