11/11/2009, While Apple isn’t going to throw its weight behind the Blu-ray format just yet, that doesn’t mean everyone else is doing nothing, with Amex Digital rolling out the new Blu-ray Drive Upgrade Kit. Also known as the BD-UG1, it will retail for $199 while supporting Blu-ray recording should you happen to rely on BootCamp on your Mac mini while work under the Windows operating system. Any takers?

10/16/2009, The Apple store is closed, which *usually* means that there’s a new product update. Of course, it could just be a technical upgrade, but that would most likely happen at night or something. Anyway, it is much more exciting to think that new iMacs or Mac minis are going to appear. Stay tuned. Update: the store is back and we don’t see anything new… false alert.
