09/09/2013, Olympus’ latest micro 4/3 camera has arrived and it brings many improvements to the table, like a 37-point phase detection (in addition to the 81-point contrast detection) that is built into the 16.3 Megapixel sensor of this camera. This means that the OM-D E-M5 camera no longer has the best AF system in Olympus’ micro-4/3 line up, thus effectively becoming the number two m4/3 camera from now on.
06/06/2011, Panasonic’s foray into the world of Micro Four Thirds technology have yielded quite the success in the form of the GF1, which has sold quite a fair number in the market. Well, the GF1 was followed up by the GF2, but I must say that there were certain quarters who were originally hooked to the GF1 did not really find the need to make the “upgrade” so to speak, so […]
04/24/2011, According to Chinese website Tech.sina, an interview with ex-Olympus chief Mr. Watanabe has gleaned some rather interesting information for everyone who is interested in the world of digital photography, not to mention newer developments in the Micro Four Thirds universe. According to Mr. Watanabe, Olympus knows that consumers are currently waiting (patiently) for large aperture M4/3 lenses, so Olympus is no lost to this anticipation as they have already started […]

12/14/2010, Jan Brockmann, a freelance video and commercial director from Hamburg, recently took Panasonic’s latest Lumix GH2 out for a spin, and claims that this Micro Four Thirds digital camera is extremely versatile and more than able to shoot professional looking videos without missing a beat. Among the new features found in the Luimx GH2 include the lightning-quick contrast AF, which will adjust itself in a mere 0.1 , while the […]
11/03/2010, There are whispers of the Panasonic Lumix GF2 camera hitting the market sometime this week, but nothing has been confirmed on an official basis just yet. If you happen to reserve your judgment based on smoking guns, then the GF2 is all but confirmed, having been spotted on an event poster in Paris concerning Panasonic’s latest Micro Four Thirds camera. It seems that an event will take place in that […]
10/24/2010, Our friends living across the pond will be most pleased to find out that the Panasonic GH2 Micro Four Thirds shooter is ready to rock and roll in Europe sometime later this year – November 14th, to be exact. That continent won’t be the first to get hold of the GH2 though, since those living in the far East (specifically, Japan) will be able to check out the GH2 from […]

Unfortunately, that’s all we managed to get as the important nitty gritty such as release date, shipping times as well as areas in which this camera will be released in were not revealed. […]
