Netflix Inc is an Internet company that distributes video on-demand. As of 2012, the company operated in the USA, but also in South America, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Netflix was founded in 1997 in California and is still based in Los Gatos in the Silicon Valley. Of course, Netflix is also provides DVD rentals via regular mail, and that is actually how the company took off before becoming the entity that is said to account for 29% of USA download Internet traffic as of March 2011. Netflix is one of the largest customer of Amazon's AWS infrastructure business.
