Netflix Inc is an Internet company that distributes video on-demand. As of 2012, the company operated in the USA, but also in South America, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Netflix was founded in 1997 in California and is still based in Los Gatos in the Silicon Valley.
